How to Lead a Healthy Life

Some of my ideas on staying healthy, what it has implied to me before, and what it suggest to me right now. What does being healthy represent to you?

Today I look forward to chat about the word healthy. Or the definition of attempting to be healthy. In 2020, what does the description of healthy even mean imply?

I used to believe that health was one process and one process only. I was unconsciously overshadowed by my own fixation of orthorexia, anorexia and binging. I conceived eating clean was the exclusive approach. I specified foods as bad and good. I ate the same foods every single day for years. I measured everything. I exacted owing to most of my life felt so out of structure. I worked out every single day for at least an hour. I weighed myself too many times.

For years, I accepted that all of this was healthy as I was thin, ate nutritious food and trained. How I was incredibly not right.

Recollecting, I can identify how destructive I was to both myself and my associations all because I simply liked to be “healthy”. I didn’t favor myself some understanding as it interfered with how I thought I liked to live.

Not only did I have these misunderstandings, but I also reviewed others for their favorings when it came to nutrition and training routines. Secretly, but now and again in my thoughts. It was amiss.

Nowadays are much distinctive. My ideas of what constitute of being healthy has changed and I’m finally in this zone of stability, which I never considered would be conceivable. I’ve also primed quite a bit, practiced compassion, embraced how to be kinder in acceptance, and loved myself immensely. The concluding part is exclusively important reason being practicing to love and believe myself brought me to love and care about others. I could connect and sympathize.

I’m not sure if you’ll recognize, but I guess that most of our contexts of attempting to be healthy have modified especially up the years.

Society and the media are continually providing us with never ending material on how to eat, studies on what to dodge, and how to lead the greatest lives possible. Our fascination on being the healthiest, happiest humans all the time is too much and can even be detrimental to our all over well-being. Sometimes we disremember that health has more than one context.

These are just a few examples of “trying to be healthy”:

• A tri-athlete can be healthy.

• An individual who exercises 3x a week is thought to be to be healthy.

• Snacking on dessert can be included in a wholesome diet.

• Green smoothies are a nutrient rich, nutrient balanced snack or breakfast.

• Practicing yoga is a stress relieving way of health.

There are too many black and white notions of what staying healthy suggests and so I test you to contemplate outside of what’s comfortable to you. To accept others perception of what health indicates to them and the happiness it can bring to their lives. Let it be green smoothies or acai bowls, running followed by pizza on the weekends, early morning yoga or absorbing in time for themselves; every being is authentic and so is the description of health.
